Mirrabooka incident - 12 year old boy injured

Traffic Enforcement Group North officers are seeking information regarding an incident that occurred in Mirrabooka last night (26 August) where a boy fell from a vehicle.

Just after 10pm, a 16-year-old boy was driving a red Volkswagen Golf hatchback with two passengers along Cobbler Road, when near Northwood Drive, a 12-year-old boy fell from the vehicle.

The 12-year-old received serious head injuries and he was conveyed by ambulance to Perth Children's hospital.

Investigators are attempting to establish the circumstances surrounding how the person was injured and they urge anyone with dash-cam or mobile phone vision of the crash or the red Volkswagen Golf travelling in the area prior to the crash, to upload the vision via this link:
