Gold Coast police are appealing for urgent public assistance to help locate a 79-year-old man reported missing from Mermaid Waters this morning (Tuesday, December 6).
Pedro Santos (pictured) was last seen around 9:00am today at a residence on Timana Avenue.
Police and Pedro's family hold concern for his welfare as he has a medical condition and may be disoriented or confused.
Pedro is described as having an olive complexion, 150cm tall, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, black shorts, grey running shoes and possibly a grey cap.
Police urge anyone with information regarding Pedro's whereabouts to come forward immediately.
