Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man who went missing in the state’s northwest yesterday, NSW Police say.
Steven Warren, 63, was last seen about 9.30am yesterday today, when he was seen walking south east along a railway corridor towards Breeza from Curlewis, which is about 17km south of Gunnedah.
When he failed to return, concerned family members contacted police.
Officers attached to Oxley Local Area Command have been searching for Mr Warren today, however he has not been seen.
Concerns are held for Mr Warren’s welfare, as his disappearance is out of character and he is believed to be without his medication.
Mr Warren is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall with a large build, with grey hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion.
He was last seen wearing a red and black jacket and dark overalls.
Police believe Mr Warren may possibly be in Colo in the Hawkesbury Local Area Command.
Anyone who knows of Mr Warren’s whereabouts is urged to contact local police via Crime Stopers.
