A man missing from far north-western NSW has been found safe and well.
The 55-year-old was last heard from yesterday (Saturday 11 December 2021) when he contacted police after becoming lost near the Silver City Highway, just south of Tibooburra.
Officers from Barrier Police District commenced a search for the man with assistance from SES, NSW Ambulance and members of the community.
About 11am today (Sunday 12 December 2021), the man was located by the SES near Thompsons Creek, about 5km south of Tibooburra.
