A man missing from Prairiewood has been located safe and well after police issued an SMS geo-targeting alert today.
The 90-year-old man was last seen at Prairiewood about 2.10pm (Friday 4 February 2022).
Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified a short time later, when he was unable to be located.
Police subsequently issued a public appeal for information and an SMS geo-targeting alert to the Prairiewood and Fairfield areas.
About 5.45pm, the man was located safe and well by a member of the public at Fairfield – who had received the SMS alert.
