Missing Persons Squad detectives located human remains in Woorinen, near Swan Hill late yesterday, Victoria Police say.
A vehicle was also located in the area.
The body is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be that of missing 33-year-old man, Dean Jenkins.
Detectives will await the result of a post mortem to determine the cause of death.
