A teenage girl missing from Sydney's south-west has been located safe and well after police issued an SMS geo-targeting alert this evening.
The 13-year-old was last seen at Busby about 2.45pm today (Monday 19 September 2022).
Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were notified a short time later and commenced extensive inquiries to locate her.
Following a public appeal for information and an SMS geo-targeting alert sent to Busby and the surrounding areas, she was located safe and well by a member of the public – who had received the SMS alert about 10 minutes prior.
Police wish to thank the public and media for their assistance.
