A woman missing from Lake Illawarra has been found safe and well.
The 26-year-old woman was last seen at a home on Weringa Avenue, Lake Heights about 6am today (Sunday 21 July 2024).
When she could not be located, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following inquiries, the woman was located safe and well this afternoon (Sunday 21 July 2024).
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
