A woman reported missing from the state's south west has been located safe and well.
The 56-year-old woman, who was last seen walking into the Murraguldrie State Forest in Carabost, about 30km north west of Tumbarumba, on Sunday 18 October 2020, was reported missing to Murray River Police District yesterday.
Earlier today, a multi-agency search was conducted by local police, PolAir, trail bike operators, Police Rescue, NSW State Emergency Service, National Parks and Wildlife Service and the Australian Defence Force.
Following a search of bushland surrounding the woman's home, she was located safe about 11.30am today (Tuesday 20 October 2020).
The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital for treatment to mild dehydration.
