Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 79-year-old woman Irmgard.
It is believed Irmgard left her home in Endeavour Way, Wyndham Vale about 5pm today.
Police and family have concerns for Irmgard's welfare as she has dementia.
Irmgard is about 167cm tall, a slim build, with short blonde/grey hair.
She is believed to be wearing reading glasses with red frames and carrying a red purse.
Irmgard is believed to be travelling in a red Holden Cruze sedan, registration 1HE 7MR.
She may be travelling to the Wyndham and Geelong areas.
Police have released an image of Irmgard and urge anyone who sights her to call Triple Zero (000).
