Mitchell Shire Council is seeking public submissions regarding the proposed discontinuance and sale of an unmade section of John Street, Kilmore.
The outcome of this proposal is in line with the strategic vision of the Kilmore Structure Plan, seeking to achieve the future Road realignment of John Street to improve traffic connectivity.
Should the portion of John Street be deemed no longer required, it is proposed that the land is sold by private treaty to the owner of 40 Kilmore-Lancefield Road, contingent on further negotiations and at current market value.
