Monash University has climbed 24 places to rank 63rd globally and third in Australia in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) World Reputation Rankings 2025.
The reputation rankings are calculated from responses to the world's largest invitation-only opinion survey of senior, published academics.
Monash University Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Sharon Pickering said the achievement reinforces the University's high global standing in education and research excellence.
"Our strong performance in global rankings is a testament to the dedication, expertise and collaboration of our staff across the University and is remarkable for a university of our age." Professor Pickering said.
"This latest ranking recognises the unique global reach of our international network of campuses and locations arcing across the Indo-Pacific and into Europe, and reflects our commitment to delivering excellent research and education at pace and scale."

The result builds on the University's success in last year's QS World University Rankings 2025 and US News and World Report Best Global Universities 2024-2025, where it placed 37th and 35th, respectively.
