Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Mooliabeenee (near Bindoon) in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 13 April 2024.
About 1.15am, a silver 2005 model Ford Falcon sedan was travelling westbound on the Bindoon-Moora Road when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
The 49-year-old male driver of the vehicle sustained catastrophic injuries and died at the scene.
