Mooloolaba Anchor Boosts Tourism and Commerce

Viking Sky will kick off the season on Sunday, February 8, with 930 passengers on board. This marks the beginning of a busy period for Mooloolaba, as the town prepares to host a variety of cruise ships.

Following closely, the MS Azamara Pursuit will dock on Saturday, February 22, carrying 777 passengers. The next day, Sunday, February 23, will see the arrival of the Viking Venus, also with 930 passengers.

The cruise ship Amadea is scheduled to arrive on Friday, February 28, bringing 600 passengers to the shores of Mooloolaba. Finally, the Seven Seas Mariner will conclude this wave of arrivals on Sunday, March 30, with 769 passengers.

The influx of visitors is expected to provide a much-needed economic boost for local businesses during February, normally a quiet period.
