Four more people were arrested today as part of an ongoing investigation into a violent break-in at Two Wells in September, according to SA Police.
Police will allege that in the early hours of Friday 8 September, several offenders forced their way into a Two Wells home where a man and woman were inside asleep. It will be alleged that the male occupant was assaulted with a baseball bat and Taser, and threatened with a knife.
During the incident, three cars, three motorbikes, a van and trailer, and other personal items were stolen from the property. Police later recovered the cars, motorbikes and trailer at a Blakeview address.
This was not a random attack and it is believed to be the result of a personal dispute.
On Wednesday 10 January, Crime Gangs Task Force officers arrested two men and two women.
A 33-year-old Smithfield Plains man, a 39-year-old Barmera man, a 31-year-old Hillbank woman and a 45-year-old Elizabeth Grove woman were charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, aggravated assault cause harm, aggravated threats to kill, property damage and theft.
They were all refused police bail and three will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today, while the Riverland man will appear in the Berri Magistrates Court.
Today's arrests follow the arrests of two men, one a former member of the Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, on 10 September, a 33-year-old Freeling man and a 34-year-old Salisbury Downs man.
