An inclusive play space for families fleeing domestic violence, a new playground and a kitchen upgrade to produce nutritious meals for the community are among 36 not-for-profit projects to share in grants of up to $25,000 to support vulnerable South Australians and communities.
More than $530,000 will be dispersed across the state, including the regions, as part of the latest round of Grants SA grants.
Minister for Human Services Michelle Lensink said these grants were intended to help South Australians reconnect with each other and their communities.
"We are really thrilled to be funding these important community-based projects right across the state to help South Australians connect, engage and participate in their local areas," said Minister Lensink.
"Each of these important local projects will deliver real and positive impacts to communities across the state.
"Not only will these grants provide fantastic new projects and initiatives for communities, many of them are providing opportunities for construction and building work, supporting jobs in our regions.
"Congratulations to all grant recipients – we look forward to seeing these projects come to fruition in the coming months."
