Police are investigating a crash in Sydney’s east which has left a motorcyclist in a serious condition in hospital.
Just after 8pm today, a 32-year-old man was riding a motorcycle east on Fitzgerald Avenue, Maroubra, when it collided with the rear of a parked motor vehicle.
The rider sustained leg, pelvis and internal injuries. He was taken to St Vincents Hospital in a serious condition, NSW Police say.
Police from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command have commenced an investigation into the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
