A motorcyclist has died in hospital from injuries sustained in a crash in the Riverland late last month, according to SA Police.
About 4.10pm on Tuesday 28 March, a Honda motorcycle and Nissan sedan collided on Bookpurnong Road, Loxton North causing the rider to be thrown from his motorcycle.
The 73-year-old man from Loxton was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital but sadly died yesterday in hospital.
The driver of the Nissan sedan, a 59-year-old Lyrup woman, received medical treatment for shock and minor injuries.
Major Crash investigators are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The man's death is the 21st on South Australian roads so far this year. The road toll at the same time last year was 20.
