Motorcyclist Dies After Two-vehicle Crash Near Albury

A man has died following a two-vehicle crash near Albury today.

About 4.40pm (Thursday 17 October 2024), emergency services were called to the Hume Highway, Table Top – about 15km north of Albury – following reports a truck and a motorcycle had collided.

The rider of the motorcycle was assisted at the scene by witnesses and NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

The rider is yet to be formally identified

The driver of the truck was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Murray River Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is urged to come forward and contact local police.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
