A man has died following a two-vehicle crash north west of Cooma yesterday.
About 12.40pm (Saturday 29 May 2021), emergency services were called to the Snowy Mountains Highway, Kiandra, about 90km north west of Co0ma, after reports a motorcycle travelling south and a Mazda utility travelling north collided.
The rider, a 57-year-old man, was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene.
The Mazda driver, a 30-year-old woman, was taken to Cooma Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Monaro Police District commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
