A motorcyclist has died after his bike left the Kings Highway and crashed 20km north-west of Braidwood this morning.
Emergency services were called to the Kings Highway, Manar, about 11:30am today (Friday 7 February 2025), and found a 57-year-old man was critically injured when his bike struck a pole.
Two passersby rendered assistance; however, he was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
Officers attached to Monaro Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
It's believed the man was from Batemans Bay.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
