Motorcyclists Invited For Coffee With Cop

As part of Motorcycle Awareness Month, Eurobodalla Council is inviting riders to stop in at the driver reviver by Bodalla's Bruce Motbey Reserve for 'Coffee with a Cop'.

Council's road safety officer Katherine Buttsworth says Coffee with a Cop is an international initiative breaking down barriers between police and the citizens they serve.

"We'll have a coffee van onsite so keen riders can pick up their free coffee and have a bit of yarn with our local South Coast District police. In the last five years motorcycle were involved in 15 percent of crashes in Eurobodalla. This is a nice way to talk tactics on getting that down."

Coffee with a Cop runs from 10am to 12noon on Thursday 17 and Monday 21 October. This event is co-hosted by Eurobodalla Council, NSW Police Force and Transport for NSW.
