The Olympic Highway has reopened in both directions between Wallendbeen and Cootamundra after being closed due to flooding.
Burley Griffin Way has also reopened between Wallendbeen and Temora.
And, Mitchell Highway has reopened in both directions at Molong.
Motorists are urged to avoid non-essential travel in flood affected areas of regional NSW, with several other major roads still closed including:
In the Central West and south:
- Canowindra Road is closed in both directions between Canowindra Street and Gaskill Street in Canowindra.
- The Olympic Highway is closed in both directions at Bendick Murrell.
- The Newell Highway remains closed in both directions to all vehicles between Forbes, and the Mid Western Highway at Back Creek.
- The Newell Highway is closed in both directions between Gillenbah and Jerilderie.
- The Sturt Highway is closed in both directions between Darlington Point and Collingullie.
- Henry Lawson Way is closed between Forbes and Grenfell.
- The Escort Way is closed between Forbes and Eugowra.
- Lachlan Valley Way is closed between Forbes and Gooloogong, as well as between Gooloongong and Cowra.
- Lachlan Valley Way is also closed between Forbes and Jemalong.
- Mid Western Highway is closed between Goolgowi and West Wyalong.
- West of Albury, the Riverina Highway is closed in both directions at Bungowannah and at Coreen.
- Kidman Way is closed at Wallanthery.
In the state's north:
- The Gwydir Highway is closed between Collarenebri and Telleraga Road, west of Moree.
- The Carnarvon Highway is closed between Garah and Mungindi.
- The Kamilaroi Highway is closed between Walgett and Bourke, between Walgett and Burren Junction, between Wee Waa and Merah North, and between Wee Waa and Narrabri.
- The Oxley Highway is closed between Warren and Collie (west of Gilgandra).
In the state's North West:
- The Cobb Highway is closed between Booligal and Wilcannia.
Motorists are advised to take extreme care in flood-affected areas and are reminded never to drive through floodwaters.
