Officers from Mount Beauty intercepted a high range drink driver in Mount Beauty this afternoon.
Police stopped a Toyota Aurion on Lakeside Avenue about 4.15pm and asked the driver, a 49-year-old Tawonga South woman, to undergo a preliminary breath test.
She then underwent an evidentiary test and returned an alleged result of 0.317.
Her licence was immediately suspended for 12 months and she is expected to be summonsed to court for drink driving offences.
Police will also make an application at court to have her car impounded.
