Mum with three kids in car over the limit in Berrima

A woman has been charged with a mid-range PCA offence after being stopped with her three children in the car at Berrima this afternoon, NSW Police say.

Police from The Hume Target Action Group (TAG) will allege they were patrolling Berrima about 3.20pm today, when they stopped the woman on the Old Hume Highway for a roadside breath test.

The 34-year-old driver returned a positive result and she was arrested and taken to Bowral Police Station, where she allegedly a reading of blood analysis reading of 0.132.

She has been issued with a Field Court Attendance Notice for mid-range PCA and her licence was suspended immediately.

The driver is due in Moss Vale Local Court on 10 January 2017.

The woman’s three children, aged 13, 11 and nine, were in the car at the time.

Family and Community Services have been notified.
