Calling all Early Years Educators!
The annual Murrindindi Children's Network Early Childhood Conference will be held on Thursday 9 May from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm at Holmesglen at Eildon, and you're invited to join us for a wonderful day of learning and connection.
The theme for this year's conference is 'Better All Round' with a focus on the importance of stories in children's play and learning, particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, teaching body safety, and play and movement therapy.
Aunty Jo will conduct a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony to kick off the conference, and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an African Drumming session for stress relief and mindfulness.
We have some excellent speakers that are well respected in their fields, including:
- Annette Sax from Yarn Strong Sista
- Deanne Carson from Body Safety Australia
- Robyn Papworth from Play, Move, Improve
Cost: $150 per person
