The My Clarence Valley team are currently in the process of updating our content library and are seeking images to be used in My Clarence Valley marketing. This includes use on our website and in printed brochures including a brand-new Visitor Guide for 2025. We want YOU to be involved!
At this early stage, there are two opportunities for local photographers.
1. My Clarence Valley is looking to purchase prominent location shots of our diverse region. We are looking for a wide range of images specifically of landscapes from bushland to beaches, rivers, or rainforests. These images will showcase the full breadth of experiences offered by the Clarence Valley. This is a great opportunity to showcase existing content.
We require usage rights, without mandatory crediting for two years, and images will be used for but not limited to our website, printed advertisements, including the Visitor Guide, and social media platforms.
This opportunity is compensated, and we require your price guide to be provided. Single images or packages will be considered.
2. We also invite you to submit yourself as a "My Clarence Valley Instagram Legend" and be promoted in the Visitor's Guide as part of our Insta-worthy locations page. This page will be dedicated to our social media followers who regularly tag and share images with us for reshare. It will showcase a number of stand-out images to help promote our hashtag and our social accounts.
These images will not be used in marketing other than in our Visitor's Guide as a social media legend and on our social media. Full credit with be given to you with a link to your Instagram page. The Visitors Guide is expected to have a 2-year shelf life.
Please note, this is not a paid promotion, but an opportunity to be recognised as a frequent MCV contributor with a link to your social account to grow your audience. We encourage anyone who has had their image shared on our page to nominate themselves for this opportunity.
We encourage you to think creatively and submit standout images for either opportunity. Consider images that evoke a desire to visit the depicted locations. You may submit multiple images for consideration, and our team will notify selected photographers by the end of September.

This opportunity is open to all photographers, and multiple will be selected.
Images can be submitted watermarked at this early stage but chosen images will require watermarks to be removed. All images should be in high resolution and by titled with your name and image location. By submitting images, you confirm ownership of the rights to these photographs.
Feel free to enter submissions for both opportunities but please only submit one category at a time. The categories are clearly marked on the submission form as Content Library and Instagram Legend.
