A NSW dad has scooped up a staggering $1 million prize in the latest Weekday Windfall draw, making this Father’s Day one he’ll never forget.
The Bathurst local scored the only division one prize nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4434 and pocketed a neat $1 million.
The gleeful man had checked his winning ticket just moments before lotto officials called to confirm the life-enhancing news.
“I know why you’re calling!” the winning man laughed.
“I checked my ticket just before and I’m over the moon.
“I’m excited but pretty calm actually.
“My kids mean the world to me, so I already know I’ll be helping them out.
“They’re not going to believe me, that’s for sure!
“I wouldn’t mind doing some overseas travelling too.
“Thank you so much.”
The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4434 on Monday 26 August 2024 were 5, 26, 38, 45, 32 and 25, while the supplementary numbers were 8 and 2.
