Mystery NSW Lotto Winner Has Yet to Come Forward

A Port Stephens resident or visitor has unknowingly started their work week as a newly minted division one lottery winner, following this weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

The mystery ticketholder held one of the 21 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4489, drawn Saturday 27 July 2024 and looks forward to a total prize of $952,380.96.

However, as the winning entry was not registered to a player card, officials from The Lott have no way of notifying the winner of their life-enhancing win and instead must wait for them to check their ticket and come forward.

The winning entry was purchased at newsXpress Salamander Bay, Shop 76, Salamander Centre, Salamander Way, Salamander Bay.

The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said she hoped Port Stephen’s latest division one winner checked their ticket and came forward soon.

“Our elusive winner is likely oblivious to the fact they’ve won more than $952,000 in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw,” she said.

“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Saturday Lotto ticket from newsXpress Salamander Bay to check their tickets today!

“Just imagine how exhilarating it would be to discover you were $952,000 richer! Your plans for the rest of the year and into the future would change quickly!

“Make sure you check your tickets, Port Stephens, and if you discover you are holding the winning ticket contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process.”

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4489 on 27 July 2024 were 4, 37, 45, 27, 11, 20, while the supplementary numbers were 15 and 10.

Across Australia, there were 21 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4489 – seven in Victoria, five in New South Wales, four in Queensland, two in South Australia and Western Australia, and one in Tasmania.
