MyWay+ Update: Register Your Current MyWay Card

The ACT Government is bringing public transport into the future with Canberrans encouraged to register their current MyWay cards for onboarding into the new system.

This will support the transfer of funds from existing customer accounts onto the new MyWay+ system which is expected to be operational in November this year.

At the same time a major milestone has been reached for the project with more than 200 people soon to be recruited to take part in user testing for the new MyWay+ system.

The user testing period will commence in September and will run for approximately six weeks. This critical testing period will provide valuable insight from a customer experience perspective.

Involvement will include an early hands-on experience in using the MyWay+ services, including the web portal, mobile app as well as testing the new equipment on board buses and at light rail stops from a customer experience perspective.

Transport Canberra will engage a range of different cohorts to conduct the implementation of the new system including members of our workforce, Transport Canberra and City Services Accessibility Reference Group, students, public transport advocates, first nations people and older Canberrans.
