NAB Investigates Widespread Online Banking Outage

National Australia Bank (NAB) is investigating a potential glitch or incident after thousands of customers reported difficulties accessing their online banking services on Monday.

The bank's app and internet banking services are down, preventing customers from making online transactions after they were locked out of its website and app. Those who can log in have reported seeing empty pages or "Account summary isn't working at the moment" message.

"We’re aware of an issue currently impacting some of our services including internet banking, mobile and desktop. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this is causing. Our teams are working to resolve this ASAP," the bank said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In the latest update, the bank said the mobile app has been restored and the engineers are working to resolve the remaining internet banking issue.

"NAB mobile banking has now been restored. We are working to resolve remaining issues with internet banking. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this is causing. Thanks for your patience."
