NAB Survey Shows Boost in Business Confidence

Tasmanian Government

The NAB January Monthly Business Survey has shown business confidence is improving in Tasmania.

Tasmania has been improving over the course of the last three surveys, now moving to fourth and maintaining third best business conditions.

Treasurer, Guy Barnett, said this was welcome news.

"We know that business confidence relies on a strong economy, on good business conditions and a forward pipeline of work," the Treasurer said.

"Our Government has worked closely with the business community and this latest report is a positive start to 2025.

"This rise in business confidence builds on our strong business conditions, our record retail trade, our strong summer of events and more.

"Through our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's Future we're continuing to work hard for everyday Tasmanians and their families so we can continue to secure better results and better outcomes."
