NAIDOC Week Posters Exhibition
In 1967, the National Aborigines and Islander Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) first began producing posters to commemorate Aboriginal people and their heritage.
The poster competition has since become a feature of NAIDOC Week encouraging artists over 13 years of age to submit their artwork which reflect the year's theme.
This exhibition is a selection of these posters dating back to 1972 with messages that still have relevance today.
On display from Saturday 1 July at Casuarina Library
