Police can now confirm the name of the person who died following a two vehicle crash on Halcombe Road, Thursday 4 May.
She was transported to hospital where she passed away early hours Friday 5 May.
She was Te Aturangi Tui Teu-Whittaker, 8, of Marton.
Our thoughts and sympathies are with her family.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
