Police are now in a position to release the name of man who died after a motorcycle crash in Rakaia on 18 October.
He was 68-year-old Rakaia man Warren Victor Galbraith.
Mr Galbraith was transported by helicopter to Christchurch Hospital after the crash but died as a result of his injuries on 21 October.
Police extend their sympathies to his family and friends.
