As a result of the 2022 Storm events that resulted in the flash flooding of serval areas of the Narrandera Urban area, Council endorsed the upgrading of the existing stormwater system.
Council secured funding to undertake the Survey & Detailed Design, for which SMEC Australia have been engaged to prepare the required studies and documentation.
As part of this process, over the next couple of months you may see inspections and surveys being undertaken within the road reserve near your property (along the roads with the blue line on the map). These works are a critical part of the design process and will be undertaken to minimise any interference to local traffic or residents.
