NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is participating in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday (18 January 2023). In the plenary session on ''Restoring Security and Peace'', he is set to stress the importance of long-term support to Ukraine, the enduring value of transatlantic unity, and the need to avoid dependencies on authoritarian regimes.
Other participants in the panel will be President Andrzej Duda of Poland, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland of Canada, U.S. Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, and First Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko of Ukraine. The discussion will be moderated by CNN's Fareed Zakaria.
While in Davos, the Secretary General will also have a number of bilateral meetings with international leaders.
