Netball World Cup Legacy for Future Generations

The Legacy Program will invest $1 million on participation initiatives, training and development of Netball NSW staff and volunteers as well as programs to promote the sport ahead of the World Cup.

The $500,000 Netball Infrastructure Strategy will include planning and studies to support Netball NSW's growth plans for the sport.

The 2027 Netball World Cup will be held in Sydney and will feature the world's top 16 teams competing across 60 games with the event to deliver an estimated $31 million boost to the NSW visitor economy.

Netball is the number one female participation sport in Australia, with NSW accounting for more than a quarter of all participants nationally.
