Mr. Campbell brings over 20 years of distinguished experience in government administration and financial management to his new role as the Prince Edward Island representative to the CCOHS Council of Governors. As the CEO of the Workers Compensation Board of PEI since September 2023, he has been a stalwart advocate for workplace safety, overseeing operations and ensuring workers' well-being. With a background including key roles within the Government of Prince Edward Island, such as Clerk of the Executive Council and Secretary to Cabinet, Deputy Minister of Finance, and Secretary to Treasury Board, Mr. Campbell has consistently prioritized policies and initiatives aimed at fostering safe work environments. His leadership in promoting workplace health and safety, coupled with his academic credentials, positions him as a formidable asset to CCOHS.

Mr. Campbell has been appointed for a term of four years effective October 11, 2024.

Kevin Mooney - Governor representing Saskatchewan

Mr. Mooney brings over two decades of extensive expertise in occupational health and safety to his role as an appointee to the CCOHS Council of Governors. Currently serving as Vice President of Prevention and Employer Services at the Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board, he has played a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives aimed at eliminating workplace injuries. With a proven track record of leadership, Mr. Mooney has spearheaded the development and delivery of injury prevention strategies, programs and services.

As he embarks on this new role, Mr. Mooney is poised to leverage his wealth of experience to contribute to the advancement of workplace safety practices nationwide.

Mr. Mooney has been appointed for a term of four years effective October 11, 2024.

Scott Nauss - Governor representing Nova Scotia

Mr. Nauss brings over 15 years of progressive leadership experience, with a notable emphasis on occupational health and safety, as he steps into his new position representing Nova Scotia at the CCOHS Council of Governors. As the Senior Executive Director of the Safety Branch with the Nova Scotia government, he spearheaded initiatives to measure safety culture, develop inspection plans and transform enforcement-focused teams into compliance and partnership-oriented units. With a strong background in regulatory development, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning within safety branches, Mr. Nauss is well suited to make significant contributions to promoting workplace safety and health at the national level.

Mr. Nauss has been appointed for a term of four years effective October 11, 2024.

Todd McDonald - Governor representing British Columbia

With over two decades of experience at WorkSafeBC, Mr. McDonald has held pivotal roles including Head of Prevention Services, Chief Planning Officer and Vice President of Claims. He has led critical initiatives, including managing responses to catastrophic sawmill explosions and implementing strategies that significantly reduced claims inventories. Renowned for his strategic vision and operational excellence, he has driven efforts to modernize organizational structures, enhance service delivery and promote data-driven management. His commitment to advancing workplace health and safety aligns seamlessly with CCOHS's mission to eliminate work-related illnesses and injuries.
