Thousands of local riders have already enjoyed Campbelltown's newest bike track, with the St Helens Park Youth Space quickly proving a hit since opening.
The new bike track features a series of berms, jumps, rollers and elevation changes to challenge riders of all ages and skill levels.
Mayor of Campbelltown Darcy Lound officially opened the track alongside Member for Campbelltown and Parliamentary Secretary for Western Sydney Greg Warren at a special plaque unveiling.
"The track provides a unique challenge that keeps it interesting for experienced riders while also offering a loop for beginners to learn their skills," Cr Lound said.
"It's been great to see the park packed full of people throughout the week and it's already proving to be a very popular addition to some of Campbelltown's brilliant recreational spaces," he said.
"The quality design of the track has raised the standard for youth recreational facilities of this type in Campbelltown and it's been great to hear the overwhelmingly positive feedback from riders."
"The community response to the opening of this fantastic new facility has been nothing short of incredible," said State Member for Campbelltown, Greg Warren.
"It's been great to work with Campbelltown City Council to deliver this wonderful community facility that will provide a space for people with every level of ability and experience to enjoy their riding," Mr Warren said.
The St Helens Park Youth Space project is proudly funded by the NSW Government through the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program.
It is one of three bike track projects across Campbelltown being delivered as part of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant Program, including the Glenfield Urban Bike Park and Kanbyugal Parklands Mountain Bike Park at Woodbine.
