The Australian Government has announced the appointment of Justice Robert James Bromwich as the next Chief Justice of the Norfolk Island Supreme Court.
Having served on the Federal Court of Australia since 2016 and the Supreme Court of Norfolk Island since 2021, Justice Bromwich has a wealth of relevant experience and knowledge.
The Government thanks outgoing Chief Justice Anthony Besanko for his committed years of service to Norfolk Island.
Justice Bromwich will commence in his role upon the retirement of Chief Justice Anthony Besanko on 7 May.
