The City of Stonnington will welcome a new nine-member Council following the Victorian Electoral Commission officially declaring the election results today.
The Stonnington election result will see the return of three current and the arrival of six new Councillors for a four-year term.
A feature of this election has been the change to the ward structure, with one Councillor representing each of Stonnington's nine new wards (previously there were three wards with three Councillors in each).

A Councillor swearing in ceremony will be held at 7pm on Monday 18 November in the Malvern Town Hall Council Chamber and the election of Mayor, Deputy Mayor and other key appointments will take place at 7pm on Thursday 21 November in the Council Chamber.
