Shoalhaven City Council is excited to share the results of the successful candidates for each Ward who will sit as the new City Councillors for the next Council term to September 2024. Results were released on Wednesday, 22 December 2021 when the election count was finalised.

The new team includes eight new Councillors.
Council CEO, Stephen Dunshea said: "I am looking forward to working with the newly elected Councillors to confirm their priorities and set the direction for the Shoalhaven for the coming term of Council."
"New Councils bring a renewed look at issues and priorities for our region. As well as continuing to provide essential services for our communities, Council staff are ready and eager to respond to, and implement, new decisions made by the incoming Councillors." Mr Dunshea said.
The new Councillors will undertake intensive induction briefings commencing early January 2022 to enable the CEO and the Executive Team to bring the new Councillors up to speed on many of the current Council projects, challenges and opportunities.
The first Ordinary Meeting for the new Councillors will be held on Tuesday, 25 January 2022 in the Council Chambers, and can be viewed through the live stream on Council's website.
