New Director Of Professional Services Review

Associate Professor Antonio Di Dio has been appointed as Director of the Professional Services Review (PSR) to ensure integrity is maintained across the Medicare program.

The PSR is Australia's official safeguarding agency against inappropriate practice when providing Medicare and Pharmaceutical Benefits services.

Associate Professor Di Dio brings a wealth of experience to the role after working at the coalface as a general practitioner for more than 30 years.

He has been a valuable educator at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian Medical Council.

He brings experience to the role, having previously led the PSR as acting director from 2022 to the beginning of 2024.

Associate Professor Di Dio will commence as the Director of the PSR on 11 July 2024 for a three-year term.
