- 'Kimberley Season Pass' launched today, offering discounts for travel to region
- Pass includes discounted tours, accommodation, and airfares
- Forms part of Cook Government's $2.8 million package to support tourist operators in the Kimberley following unprecedented flooding last year
Discounted travel, accommodation, and airfares are now available for visitors to the Kimberley region in 2024, as part of the State Government's ongoing efforts to support local tourism businesses in their recovery from last year's unprecedented weather events.
The 'Kimberley Season Pass' offers a range of consumer travel incentives including 50 per cent off Kimberley tours and experiences (when booked through the Broome and Kununurra Visitor's Centre), along with $100 off stays at Kimberley caravan and holiday parks through a partnership with the Caravan Industry Association of WA.
The Pass also includes discounted airfares with Nexus Airlines through a 'Fly a Friend for Free' promotion, which offers 50 per cent off flights when purchasing two airfares. Discounted airfares into Broome and Kununurra are also available with Airnorth.
The 'Kimberley Season Pass' is another step towards full recovery and is being promoted through a targeted campaign within Western Australia and interstate, showcasing the region's unique tourism experiences.
This $2.8 million package is in addition to the $6 million assistance package announced last year by the Cook Government.

As stated by Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti:
"Our Government is proud to continue to support the Kimberley tourism industry in working towards full recovery for both tourism operators and the region's broader economy from last year's flooding.
"I really urge our community, as well as tourists from interstate and abroad, to consider including a trip to the Kimberley as part of their travel plans this year - a trip that's even more attractive now with these discounted airfares and other incentives.
"It comes only a few months after we reached a really important milestone in the flood recovery, with the opening of the new Fitzroy River Bridge more than six months ahead of schedule - an incredible achievement by all involved."
As stated by Regional Development Minister Don Punch:
"The 'Kimberley Season Pass' is another important step towards driving more visitors back into this remarkable part of our State.
"We continue to do what we can to support our local operators who have been impacted by this year's unseasonal flooding, and this package is another example of that."
As stated by Kimberley MLA Divina D'Anna:
"These competitive rates on tours, experiences, accommodation, and airfares will make it easier than ever for Western Australians, and out-of-state visitors to travel and experience all our incredible region has to offer.
"With so many incredible unique natural attractions and cultural experiences, we look forward to welcoming visitors from across the country to take advantage of these discounts and support the Kimberley tourism sector."
