The Andrews Labor Government is boosting critical health infrastructure in the Strathbogie Shire, with a new ambulance station set to be built on Weir Street in Euroa.
Located adjacent to Euroa Health, the new station will deliver state-of-the-art facilities to support paramedics and ensure they can respond quickly to local emergencies and save lives.
Designed with a three-bay garage for ambulances, training facilities, relievers' quarters and a fully equipped kitchen, it will also include important features to enhance the comfort and safety of the station's hardworking paramedics with two rest and recline areas and improved security and car parking.
The station's location has been carefully selected to ensure the best coverage of ambulance services for the community. Along with being adjacent to Euroa Health, it is also near other important community facilities including schools.
The project is being delivered with the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) in partnership with Ambulance Victoria.
Construction is currently underway or set to begin on further stations across the state including in Paynesville, Karingal, Inglewood, Gisborne and Foster - providing paramedics with a safe and modern home base while on the job.
