Campaspe Shire Council's Flood Recovery Hub team has launched a new program of interactive events and information sessions for residents impacted by the October 2022 floods.
Campaspe Shire Mayor Cr Rob Amos said the comprehensive program of activities and programs will be targeted to different age groups as well as the wider community.
"From school holiday programs to community pop-up events, information sessions and specialised programs, our new Recovery Events Program aims to connect people in flood-impacted communities, and build their knowledge and skills on emergency preparedness and resilience," Cr Amos said.
"We've created a new online Flood Recovery Events Calendar on Council's website so people can find out what events are coming up that may be of interest to them.
"A jam-packed program has been organised for the school holidays which kick off on Monday, 18 September. There's arts activities, inflatable fun and outdoor movie nights where the whole family can come together and enjoy a movie under the stars."
