New General Manager for Riverina Local Land Services

Ray Willis has been announced as the new General Manager of Riverina Local Land Services.

Mr Willis' appointment follows the former General Manager Rob Kelly moving to Executive Director – Regional Operations with Local Land Services NSW which involves him overseeing the eleven regions across the state.

A Wagga Wagga local, Mr Willis has a long history with Local Land Services with his forte being biosecurity and emergency management.

This includes a two year stint as Business Partner – Biosecurity with Local Land Services NSW, which saw him lead and manage the planning, development and delivery of regional biosecurity programs and emergency functions statewide.

Prior to that, he has worked within the Riverina Local Land Services team as Manager Biosecurity and for three years was the General Manager of Hume Livestock Health and Pest Authority.

"The Riverina region is in good hands – Ray brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, particularly in the area of our core services which are vital to all of our customers," Mr Kelly said.

"Ray has a great focus on customer service, delivering local solutions, and has enhanced the organisations reputation amongst key stakeholders and our customers."
