The Allan Labor Government is making it easier and more accessible for boaters to enjoy a day out of the water, with new grants for ramp managers to upgrade boat ramps across the state.

The grants will be overseen by Better Boating Victoria, which is progressing the state's biggest ever boat ramp construction program and continuing to ensure launching and parking is free at all of Victoria's public ramps.
Last year's grant recipients included Frankston City Council to dredge at the mouth of Kananook Creek while Moyne Shire Council received a grant to remove sediment along the Moyne River at Port Fairy Tooradin boat ramp has benefited from better access at a range of tides at.
Local and state government departments and agencies, committees of management and local waterway authorities are eligible to apply for the grants.
