Fremantle Leisure Centre is excited to announce an upgrade of its gym facilities, with the introduction of new strength and cardio equipment from Technogym.
One of the world's leading specialists in high-end sports equipment, Technogym offers innovative cardio and strength training machines that are designed to optimise performance, improve biomechanics and generally enhance workouts.
The upgrades are anticipated to take two weeks to complete, with the gym closing from midday this Friday to allow for new flooring, electrical work, painting and the installation of new equipment.
Group Fitness will continue during this period, with some minor disruptions.
Fremantle Leisure Centre Manager Adam Westberg said the upgrades will optimise the space and enhance the member experience.
"As well as replacing all the gym equipment, we'll be introducing virtual group fitness, adding a virtual cycle studio and we'll be the first facility in WA to get the 'Technogym Checkup' body scanner," Mr Westberg said.
Once installed, gym members can book an appraisal and induction to be shown how to use the new equipment.
